Biocarbon based products have the natural ability to heal and bring back the lost balance in our biosystems. With multifold benefits, these are effective solutions for waste management, soil remediation, and offer control of greenhouse gas emissions through carbon sequestration.

BIOCHAR

Biochar is a carbon-rich solid and porous material with a high surface area and capability for electron and nutrient transfer, enabling it to influence agricultural soil and plant health as well as the health and productivity of production animals and pets.

It is produced from thermochemical conversion of biomass using the pyrolysis technology under temperatures ranging from 400°C to 700°C where oxygen is either absent or depleted. It has 3 types of pores- macro, meso and nano with a surface area of minimum 150 m2/gram. It has applications in agriculture as growth media or for soil amendment and helps retain water and nutrients in the soil for the plants to take up as they grow, as well as in the production animal industry in the form of supplements to animal feed and helps with gut health, digestion and reduced methane production. Biochar differ depending on the feedstock, temperature, and residence time and mixing biochars from different feedstocks is beneficial and done depending on different applications.

BIOCARBON

Biocarbon is a carbon-rich material with a very high surface area and adsorption capability making it an effective solution for purification by removing contaminants from bio systems like soil, water and air as well as remidation by healing wounds on animals.

It is derived from biomass or other carbonaceous substances using pyrolysis like biochar but has an even higher surface area of about 600 m2/gram. Traditionally made post pyrolysis with post-process treatment in order to greatly increase the surface area of the material, we do things differently. Our technology innovation allows us to produce very clean active-char without any post process treatment in the range of 600-1100 m2/gram, allowing it to “absorb” a larger quantity of molecules. This high adsorption capability allows biocarbon to be effective at removing contaminants from soil, water and air, as well as healing wounds on animals, making it perfect for purification and remediation purposes.
